Frequently asked questions

Which plans include mock exams?

Mock exams come with Student Plus and Student Pro.

How long is a mock exam?

You pick: 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, so you can fit one in whenever you have the time.

Where do the questions come from?

They're exam-style questions based on past Leaving Cert and Junior Cycle papers.

How is it corrected?

As soon as you finish, your answers are corrected automatically and you get feedback on every question.

Can I see my old results?

Yes. Every mock you sit is saved, so you can look back and see how much you've improved.

When are the Leaving Cert mocks?

It depends on your school, because each school picks its own dates. Most have them in late January and early February, and some start after the February mid-term.

Are the mocks set by the SEC?

No. Your school organises the mocks. The State Examinations Commission (SEC) only sets the real exams in June.

Do the mocks count towards my Leaving Cert?

No, they don't. Your Leaving Cert maths result only comes from the papers you sit in June. The mocks are there to show you what to work on before then.
